Dublin-based quartet Banríon’s new EP Airport Dads shone through the overwhelming wave of new releases sweeping our inbox recently. There’s something refreshing about Banríon’s sound, and this EP certainly earns them their new-found place as one of the most exciting new Irish Indie bands to watch. Composed of songwriter and vocalist Róisín Ní Haicéid, whose lyricism takes on challenging topics with empathy, drummer Michael Nagle, bassist John Harding and guitarist Ivan Rakhmanin, we can’t wait for some more tunes from the group.
