London-based artist Seven Seers (aka Theo) returns today with an indie pop banger featuring his signature 80’s synth sounds fused with an up-tempo pop rock driven rhythm. Need a Friday tune to get stuck into? Look no further. Take a listen…
Speaking on the tune, Theo commented: “I love up-tempo songs and after fans loving Girl in Black, I was struggling with writer’s block to make something that surpasses it. Now, I think I finally did it“. Inspired by a new relationship and quoting part of the lyrics “bursting through the ceiling” Theo wanted to convey the feeling of being in love, being excited and wanting to throw a dance party alone in your bedroom.
Lovestruck Daydreamer was produced by Theo himself with the same philosophy as his previous singles but this time incorporating more organic sounds.
Inspired by indie and alternative pop artists, like Bleachers, girl in red and The 1975, Seven Seers combines modern pop rhythms, with mellow vocals and vintage synthesizers. Theo’s pseudonym was inspired by his lucky number 7 and his fascination with divination. Working as a professional songwriter since the age of 16, and a member of pop-rock band I-Deal Dreams from 2007 to 2012, the musician is fusing all of his influences and experiences to create a unique sound as Seven Seers, releasing songs of a more personal nature within this solo project.
